What did you search for? By almost nothing, I mean Firefox, and some background network applications that are entirely passive and would never use this much memory.
I left the AVG ones to remove as they were in the temp location and didn't seem to be doing any harm. You can check out the Task Manager to see the different iexplore processes running at the same time. This worked for me. Can't believe I haven't even seen that tool before.
The free trial of Kaspersy's anti-virus program works like a charm. I haven't made any major changes to my computer in eons. If you happen to successfully delete it, your system will not run. This explains the high memory usage in Internet Explorer.
